Finally decided to take the plunge and get some SPDs. I knew I'd fall on my side at some point but I wasn't expecting to do so in the garage while I was setting them up!!
I had to do something, 1 pedal was near seized and I spent most of the 5 miles of last nights ride trying to turn the toeclip round and get my toe in. Hence the SPDs. More road rash pictures to follow....
